10 zł We Poles, proud and free: 1918-2018

Obverse:

on the left, at the top the image of the Eagle established as the state emblem of the Republic of Poland; below, partially in the background of the eagle, a composition with squares and rectangles making up a stylized white and red flag of Poland; below it an inscription: 10 / ZŁ. Along the left edge of the coin, a semi-circular inscription reads anti-clockwise: RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA (Republic of Poland). The eagle and the flag are flanked on the right by a stylized fragment of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Warsaw. Below, in lines and columns, successive years from 1918 to 2017 in microprint, including the following highlighted years: 1918, 1939, 1945, 1956, 1966, 1968, 1970, 1976, 1978, 1980, 1981, 1989, 1999, 2004. Below them, on the left, the notation of the year of issue: 2018. Under the eagle, on the right, the Mint mark: m / w.

Reverse:

centrally, the images of the busts of woman and man using touch screens, on their left an inscription: MY POLACY (We Poles), on their right: DUMNI / I / WOLNI (proud / and / free). In the background, the outlines of the Royal Castle and the Belvedere Palace in Warsaw, stylized skyscrapers and images of the Order of the Polonia Restituta and the Order of the White Eagle; at the top, on the right a fragment of the inscription: SOLIDARNOŚĆ (Solidarity). In the lower part of the coin, on the left and on a separated area in the shape of a stylised fragment of a rectangle – an inscription: 1918 / 2018 and next to it, a 2D barcode and on its right, a graphic element inspired by it.
