Dear Customers,

in connection with the issue of the 100th Anniversary of Regaining Independence by Poland coins scheduled for 7 November 2018, please be informed that the silver spherical coin with a face value of 100 zł (217.7 g, mintage up to 1918 pcs) and the gold spherical coin with a face value of 2018 zł (217.7 g, mintage up to 100 pcs) will be available to the customers of the Kolekcjoner online shop exclusively with the option of collection at the NBP Regional Branch in Warsaw (without the possibility of ordering delivery via courier service). The collection in person has been introduced due to the risk of damage to coins during transport.

Please be kindly informed that on 7 November 2018 Narodowy Bank Polski has been put into circulation a silver coin with the face value of 100 zł 100th Anniversary of Regaining Independence by Poland.

A stylised sash surrounding the sphere, with the inscription: JESZCZE POLSKA NIE ZGINĘŁA, KIEDY MY ŻYJEMY (Poland has not yet perished, so long as we still live); below and above the sash the images of five coins: 5 zł from 1928 (reverse side) with the figure of Nike; 5 zł from 1934 (obverse side) with the image of the eagle of the Polish Riflemen’s Association; 2 zł from 1932 (reverse side) with the image of a woman's head with a garland (Polonia); 100 zł from 1966 (reverse side of a trial coin) with the image of Mieszko I and Dąbrówka; and 1 zł from 1990 (reverse side) with the denomination in a wreath of oak leaves. Between the coins, fragments of stylised eagles: the Polish military eagle of the Second Polish Republic and the eagle established for the coat-of-arms of the Republic of Poland, and images of two twigs and an oak leaf. Above the eagles, in a separated circle-shaped area, inside two circles – the image of the Eagle established as the state emblem of the Republic of Poland; an inscription surrounding the circles: RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA 2018 (Republic of Poland 2018), with a pellet at the end; below the Eagle, on the right, the Mint mark: m/w. Below the eagles, in a separated circle-shaped area, inside two circles – the inscription: 100 / ZŁ, an inscription surrounding the circles: 100. Please be kindly informed that on 7 November 2018 Narodowy Bank Polski has been put into circulation a gold coin with the face value of 1 zł 100th Anniversary of Regaining Independence by Poland.

On the reverse a large numeral: 1, below it, the perpendicular inscription: ZŁOTY – both surrounded by a wreath of stylised oak leaves.

The coin issue price is 13 000 PLN.

On the reverse centrally, the portrait of Ignacy Jan Paderewski. Along the rim, an inscription reads anticlockwise from the left: IGNACY JAN PADEREWSKI.

On the reverse, centrally the portrait of Ignacy Jan Paderewski; at the bottom, against a stylised flag of Poland, an inscription: IGNACY / JAN / PADEREWSKI. Along the left rim, a perpendicular inscription in microlettering: STULECIE ODZYSKANIA / PRZEZ POLSKĘ / NIEPODLEGŁOŚCI (100th Anniversary of Regaining Independence by Poland).

The coin issue price is 130 PLN.

10 zł Ignacy Jan Paderewski

Please be kindly informed that on 6 September 2018 Narodowy Bank Polski has been put into circulation a silver coin with the face value of 10 zł 125th Anniversary of the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre in Cracow.

On the reverse, centrally an image of a fragment of the facade of the building of the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre in Cracow with the dome and an outline of a further part of the building. Along the rim, a separated area with an inscription at the top: 125-LECIE DZIAŁALNOŚCI TEATRU (125th Anniversary), and at the bottom: IM. JULIUSZA SŁOWACKIEGO W KRAKOWIE (of the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre in Cracow).

10 zł 125th Anniversary of the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre in Cracow

Please be kindly informed that on 31 August 2018 Narodowy Bank Polski has been put into circulation a collector banknote with the face value of 20 zł Independence.

The front on the right of the banknote, a stylised portrait of Józef Piłsudski, with the chin propped on his hand, in a military uniform and “maciejówka” cap. Below the portrait, a repeated inscription in microlettering: 20ZŁOTYCH. To the right of the portrait, perpendicularly – the inscription: DWADZIEŚCIA ZŁOTYCH (twenty złoty), in the lower part the badge of the Polish Military Organisation, in its background the year 1918, visible depending on the angle of view; in the bottom right corner, the number: 20. To the left of the portrait, the image of the Eagle established as the state emblem of the Republic of Poland and the inscription: NARODOWY / BANK / POLSKI. In the lower part, against the stylised cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta, the inscription: WARSZAWA / 13 LUTEGO 2018 R. (WARSAW / 13 February 2018); below it the inscription: PREZES (President), a signature and the inscription below: GŁÓWNY SKARBNIK (Chief Treasurer) and a signature. To the left of the inscriptions, perpendicularly, an inscription modelled on Józef Piłsudski's manuscript: niepodległa (independent Poland) in red. In the lower part, the text of Józef Piłsudski's cable announcing the rebirth of Poland. Below the portrait, on the left, the inscription: POLSKA / STULECIE ODZYSKANIA / NIEPODLEGŁOŚCI (Poland / 100th Anniversary of Regaining / Independence); on the right, the series designation and serial number, and the repeated inscription above the area: NIEPODLEGŁA (Independent Poland).

The back of the banknote centrally, a stylised flag of Poland, with stylised shadows partly filled with the repeated inscription: POLSKA 100-LECIE ODZYSKANIA NIEPODLEGŁOŚCI (Poland 100th Anniversary of Regaining Independence) forming circles, the number 20 and rosettes. On the left, the image of the Polish Legions’ eagle holding in its claws the Amazons' shield with the letter S; around the eagle, the inscription: RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA (Republic of Poland), the whole made up of the inscription: NARODOWY BANK POLSKI/20/NIEPODLEGŁOŚĆ (Independence). At the bottom, in a rectangular area, the inscription: Narodowy Bank Polski; before and after the inscription stylised floral motifs, with the year 1918 on the left, and the year 2018 on the right.

20 zł Independence

Please be kindly informed that on 22 August 2018 Narodowy Bank Polski has been put into circulation a silver coin with the face value of 10 zł 100th Anniversary of Stefan Batory Junior and Senior High School in Warsaw.

On the reverse centrally, an image of the building of Stefan Batory Junior and Senior High School in Warsaw. At the top, an inscription: ŁAMIEMY / ROZUMEM / WCIĄŻ NOWE / ZAPORY (“We keep / overcoming / new barriers / with our minds”), a verse from the school anthem. Along the bottom rim, a semi-circular inscription: 100-LECIE POWSTANIA GIMNAZJUM I LICEUM (100th Anniversary of the Junior and Senior High School) and an inscription below the building: IM. STEFANA BATOREGO / W WARSZAWIE (named after Stefan Batory / in Warsaw), below the inscription the graduates’ badge with a perpendicular inscription: 1918 and three teeth referring to the coat of arms of the Batory family against a separated area filled with the pattern of the polychromy from the school’s assembly hall.
