10 zł 160th Anniversary of the Death of Romuald Traugutt

Obverse:

centrally, a figure of a woman holding oak and hawthorn twigs in her hand – an allegory of freedom; to the right of the figure, the image of the Eagle established as the state emblem of the Republic of Poland; below the Eagle, on the right, the Mint mark: m / w. Below the Eagle, the notation of the year of issue: 2024. At the bottom, on  the left, partially against the background of the figure, the coat of arms from the January Uprising period featuring the images of the Eagle, the Chase and Michael the Archangel, topped by a closed crown . Above, to the left of the coat of arms, the inscription: 10 / ZŁ, and, along the rim, from the left towards the top, the semi-circular inscription: RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA (Republic of Poland).

Reverse:

centrally, the bust of Romuald Traugutt, to the right, an excerpt from Romuald Traugutt’s statement originating from an investigation conducted by the Russians in 1864, reading: “BĘDĄC / PRZEKONANYM, / ŻE NIEZALEŻNOŚĆ / JEST KONIECZNYM / WARUNKIEM / PRAWDZIWEGO / SZCZĘŚCIA / KAŻDEGO NARODU, / ZAWSZE JEJ PRAGNĄŁEM / DLA SWOJEJ OJCZYZNY” (Being convinced that independence is a necessary condition for the true happiness of any nation, I have always desired it for my homeland), the inscription ended with a full stop; at the top and at the bottom, two separated planes. Along the rim, from the left towards the top, the inscription: 160. ROCZNICA ŚMIERCI ROMUALDA TRAUGUTTA (160th Anniversary of the Death of Romuald Traugutt).

• The customer pays the full amount due for the order, including shipping, by bank transfer, within 7 days of receipt of the order confirmation,
• The delivery is effected via courier to the address as indicated by the customer in the order form,

• The collector items purchased in the online shop are shipped in special Security packages,
• Time of delivery – up to 7 operating days as of the receipt of payment for the ordered collector items,
• The delivery is effected via courier when its total value do not exceed 25,000 PLN (gross).

1. An individual recipient may return the collector items purchased at the online shop within 14 days from the date of their delivery by courier service or their collection at the NPB Regional Branch in Warsaw.
2. Returns of collector items shall be made at the customer’s expense to the following address: Narodowy Bank Polski, ul. Świętokrzyska 11/21, 00-919 Warszawa, with a note „Sklep internetowy” (”Online shop”), by post or courier service; NBP refunds the shipping cost in accordance with paras. 3 and 4.
3. The return of collector items by courier shall be made in intact, original security packages and must be accompanied by the cash register receipt. NBP shall, within 14 operating days from the date of the delivery of the collector items to the address specified in para. 2:
   1. refund the equivalent of the amount due together with the shipping costs:
      1. via bank transfer to the bank account from which the payment originated or
      2. to the card used for making payment.

    

   2. send a correcting invoice – where a document confirming the sale is a VAT invoice – to the correspondence address or e-mail address indicated by the customer.

 

4. The return of collector items collected at the NBP Regional Branch in Warsaw shall be made together with the fiscal receipt. NBP shall, within 14 operating days from the date of collection of the collector items:
   1. refund the equivalent of the amount due:
      1. via bank transfer to the bank account from which the payment originated or

       

      2. to the account of the card used for payment, or

       

      3. in cash at the NBP Regional Branch in Warsaw.

    

   2. send a correcting invoice – where a document confirming the sale is a VAT invoice – to the correspondence address or e-mail address indicated by the customer.
